I was born in 1995 in Gorlice, a town in southern Poland. When I was almost 11 years old, I bought my first instrument - a 3/4 size classical guitar - and I started learning on my own how to play it. A year later, I got accepted onto a clarinet course at the local music school (the 12-years-old me had assumed that I had already known how to play the guitar and a new challenge was needed). There, I also obtained some basic piano skills, although it was not until a couple years later that I really found my way around this instrument.

Initially, I did not plan to pursue a career in music, thus I finished my formal musical education after graduating from the primary music school. In the following years, I played in a few bands, accompanied at various contests and composed short pieces of music for fun. In 2014, I started a course of Acoustic Engineering at AGH University of Science and Technology, which was a perfect combination for my passion for sound and having a technical mind. There, I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. titles, carrying out research in the field of musical acoustics. In 2019, I enrolled in a PhD course and shifted my scientifical attention to audio engineering and psychoacoustics (mored details in Research). I defended PhD on March 25th 2024.

In 2015, I published a video on YouTube in which I play a theme from Heroes of Might and Magic 3 on a classical guitar. The video was received very well (also by the composer himself), which encouraged me to pursue this style of playing. In 2019, I came across Scena Perspektywa, an intimate art space, where together with Marek Gierat we created an original project “Kwarta czysta” (”Perfect Fourth”), which embedded my fingerstyle arrangements in a theatrical setting. Beside the “Kwarta Czysta”, I started playing at other events of Scena Perspektywa, initially as an accompanier and later on also as a musical director. Thanks to my reliability and ease in cooperation, I started received invitations to theatrical projects at other places and the experience I earned allowed me to flourish in different music genres not only as a performer but also as a composer and as an arranger.
